Since she was 13 years old she was singing Dutch traditional sing-along songs.. She was 16 and on an occasional singing session in a ordinary café, there was a talent hunter an so she was invited to the "Monopole studio" at Heist o/d Berg here in Belgium.
The comment of here audition was good but, as she was young and very attractive (and still is), they wanted to put her in kind of bunny-suite to perform. Angie refused to perform half naked and the contract was history. So her career as a singer was frozen and put somewhere in a lost corner.
Many years later it was her husband (Ludo) who insisted to her to sing country music. So she came in contact with the music of Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette and was very impressed about the style and persons behind these songs.
This was really a success and she traveled through Belgium from the one free podium to the other. She had performances in The Netherlands, Germany and France.
Together with Ludo she had a country music show on Radio Milo (Mol-Millegem) Belgium, and so they had contact with lots of promoters, artists, publishers, recording studio, etc… .
Being DJ’s it gave us the possibility to meet Gary Bradshaw and his group of touring artists and so Angie was included in the group of artists to perform. It was an honor she could participate in that high quality group of country singers.

Unexpectedly, we found contact with Compo! Records. Impressed she was about Yvonne DeVaney’s music and visa versa, Miss DeVaney sent a song to Angie. Enthousiatic as she was she started to rehearse the song and finally recorded it. "Jesus Loves You And Me" is Angie Heart’s first Gospel song released on August 1, 2005 as cd-single. On Compo! Records.
Now Angie has songs written by Rhonnie Scheuerman and a Duet with Jose Daniel, more duet’s will follow as with Julie Taylor and other…. .
Top of Angie’s carrier for the moment is performing at the National Country , Western and Bluegrass Festival at Missouri Valley, Iowa in 2006 this is where she received the award “A RISING LEGEND” . Although the success and friends she made there, it was the worst experience she had so far.
